Stephen G. Zamias

Stephen Zamias is directly involved in the identification and acquisition of portfolio and individual retail real estate assets, as well as the company's financing activities.

Joining the company in 1979, his professional background includes service as Executive Vice President of Finance for George D. Zamias Developer, overseeing the Accounting and Finance Departments. His initial position was Director of Property Management.

In 1979, he graduated from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Real Estate. Mr. Zamias presently sits on the boards of 1st Summit Bank, the President's Cabinet at Saint Francis University, the Defense and Veteran's Brain Injury Center of Johnstown, the Alternative Resource Community Program and Enterprise Venture Capital of Johnstown. Mr. Zamias is heavily involved in the area's youth education programs and works closely with PA's Education Secretary, Dr. Jerry Zahorchak. Mr. Zamias sits on the board of Beating the Odds Foundation, a mentoring program for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students, National Character Education Foundation which is designed to close the academic and social gaps for today's school-aged children in grades PK-12 and The Challenge Program which offers rewards to area high school students for academic excellence in a number of categories. Mr. Zamias is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Zamias resides in Johnstown and has four children: Stephen Jr., Danielle, Jessica and Jennifer. Stephen Jr. is an asset manager for Zamias Services Inc.
